WHAT IS AN “I-MUDE”?
I-Mude comes
from the Hebrew word
Limud, which
means “Learning” and “Studying.”
At VBS Etz Chaim Hebrew School,
I-Mude is a fun
and interesting way for our students and their parents to stay
connected to Jewish education at home and in school.
Each month we pick a new topic for the
I-Mude web
pages. These topics are
geared towards each grade level and their current curriculum. The motivation for these
I-Mude’s are
current events, Jewish holidays, and various subjects relating to
Israel, and/or Judaism.
Each grade gets its own
I-Mude with the
“I-Mude
Challenge” and other
links to websites that incorporate the classes curriculum.
I-Mude is sent monthly to all
students, parents, and teachers of each grade level.
THE
“I-MUDE CHALLENGE”?
Every month I-Mude will include a “bring to
class” project. Earn
points for yourself, your class, and your grade, to ultimately win
the I-Mude challenge.
See how many times you can “bring to class” the I-Mude challenge and win
prizes for you and your class!
Keep an eye out for the I-Mude Challenge score board!
