Welcome to our school!
Valley Beth Shalom Nursery School is a warm, nurturing Jewish environment for your children to feel safe and secure. We recognize this is usually their first important step out into the big world beyond their home. Our specially trained teachers are gifted educators of young children and early Jewish education. We work closely with families and view parents as an integral part of the educational process.
Valley Beth Shalom Nursery School is a five-day program for children ages 2 \ to 5 years old. School meets from September to June. Times for 2 \ to 5 year old children are 9:00 am - 12 noon; Pre-K 9:00 am - 1:00 pm; Gesher - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Optional hours are early drop off 7:45 am - 9:00 am and extended day 12 noon - 3:00 pm. Our exciting Camp Shelanu is a separate summer option.
Enclosed is an application for admission. Applications are processed with priority given to temple members, siblings, grandchildren of members and Toddler Department participants.
For enrollment:
• Children must be born on or before February 28, 2006 in order to apply for September 2008.
• The application and a $30.00 processing fee must be submitted by December 14, 2007. We will inform you in January of your admission status.
• Temple membership is required by July 1, 2008.
• A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required when you are notified of your acceptance.
• We seek families who are committed to raising Jewish children.
