Pray with Us

To pray is to take notice of the wonder, to regain a sense of the mystery that animates all beings.  Prayer is our humble answer to the inconceivable surprise of living. It is all we can offer in return for the mystery by which we live. It is gratefulness that makes the soul great.
(Abraham Joshua Heschel, God in Search of Man)

VBS is a dynamic prayer community where you can restore your soul and connect with others through daily prayers, Shabbat services, holiday celebrations, and life cycle events.  Explore the different prayer opportunities in this section and click on the calendar below to find the right time and place for your worship needs.

For more information contact the Janet Djalilmand in the clergy office at 818-530-4009 or jdjalilmand@vbs.org
