Shabbat Mincha/Ma'ariv
On Shabbat afternoon, the community gathers for the Mincha prayers. The mood is generally calmer than the morning services. The content of the prayers reflect the essential goal of menucha or rest on the Sabbath day.
The synagogue has a Mincha/Ma’ariv service for the community that begins with Mincha at 5:00 PM (6:00 p.m during Daylight Savings) in the Winer Chapel followed by Se'udat Shlishit (A light meal), and concluding with the Ma'ariv prayers and Havdallah.
