Without you, we couldn't be us

As the new year begins at VBS Sisterhood, we're hoping you'll take this opportunity to join us. We are made of women of all ages, many professions; there are young mothers, there are older mothers; some are married and some are single.

We all have different talents, interests and personalities, but we all create a special bond and call ourselves the women of VBS Sisterhood.

Z'havah provides a community within Valley Beth Shalom where young women -- and women leading young lives -- can connect.  Legacy is geared to those who prefer daytime activies.  We provide an opportunity for our members to enhance their individual experience within the temple, socially and Judaically, surrounded by like-minded women.

Mission Statement

The mission of Valley Beth Shalom Sisterhood, as an affiliate of Women's League, is to support the synagogue programs, schools, and the community; enhance the lives of women and families through learning opportunities, spiritual experiences, personal growth, and Tikkun Olam; to provide a forum to identify meaningful moments in women's lives that offer opportunities for their Jewish journey and support of each other.
