Dinner for Docs
Dinner for Docs
Connecting VBS Physicians and Clergy
Dinner for Docs is an extraordinary and innovative program exclusively for VBS members who are physicians. These evenings include dinner, wine and conversation about diverse doctoring and medical-ethical issues melded with the study of ancient Jewish wisdom with Rabbi Noah Zvi Farkas. Each session is led by a volunteer physician from the group who works with Rabbi Farkas to select a topic and study the relevant Jewish texts. This is an ongoing program that meets four times each year. Every gathering stands alone so physicians can attend as often as their schedules permit.
