For almost two decades, Hazak members have gathered at VBS twice a month on Mondays to enjoy friendships and share interests with other members.

REGISTRATION: 9:30 a.m.
MORNINGS: Members attend a choice of Classes and Lectures at 10 :00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Past talks have featured lectures and presentations by outstanding speakers. Topics have included historical events, advances in medicine, legal and financialconcerns, space missions and new technology, opera, art, family relationships, homelessness in LA, “questions in the Torah”, current events, and more.
LUNCH: 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Members can bring a dairy lunch or purchase a light lunch provided at minimal cost
AFTERNOONS: Programs start at 12:45 p.m. Choice of Torah study with VBS Clergy, discussion groups (e.g., Great Decisions, Oracle), and Mah Jongg play.
