PLANNED GIVING – The VBS 60/120 Legacy Society

Valley Beth Shalom’s Planned Giving Program – The VBS 60/120 Legacy Society was created to acknowledge and honor those friends and members of Valley Beth Shalom who include the Synagogue in their estate plans. The Society owes its name to having been established in the year 2010, which was the 60th anniversary of Valley Beth Shalom and is in keeping with the tradition of “May you live to be 120.”

There are many people whose generosity and vision extend well beyond today. Through your planned gift – from a simple provision in your will to a more sophisticated trust – you can become a part of the VBS 60/120 Legacy Society.

The commitment made by these friends and members helps to ensure that future generations will be able to continue their Jewish life cycle within the vision that has been created at Valley Beth Shalom. Membership involves no dues, obligations or solicitations, but does allow us to thank you and recognize you for your commitment. It inspires generosity in others.

Legacy Wall – Every donor will be honored on the Legacy Wall which will be prominently displayed in the main hallway directly across from our Endowment Wall. Of course, requests for anonymity will be honored.

Legacy Founders Circle – The donors who commit to the VBS 60/120 Legacy Society at a level of $50,000 or more will become members of the Legacy Founders Circle. There will be special acknowledgment on our Legacy Wall and other recognition.

May you live to be one hundred and twenty…and may your ideals outlive even those years!
