About Our Service Options

Sanctuary Services

Sanctuary Services are held in the Niznick Sanctuary and are  led by VBS Clergy with accompaniment by piano and members of the VBS Choir. This service is approximately two hours long and includes our traditional prayers, reading of the Torah and the Rabbi’s sermon.
Reserved seating applies to VBS Premier members and their families.

Sephardic Services

Led by Sephardic Cantors and a Rabbi in Sher-Lopaty Chapel.

Outdoor Services

Previously known as the Playground Services, our new Outdoor Services offer a fuller rendition of the holiday prayers led by VBS Clergy and members of our congregation. Services include a Rabbi's sermon.
Seating is open (unassigned) for all.

Family Services

Tot and B'Yachad Family Services welcome our littlest congregants (school-aged children). These lively service options include storytelling and song singing. This year, Family Services will be led by special guest Rabbi Scott Westle.

Youth and Children's Programming

Programming alternatives will be available for three age groupings:

  • High Holiday Child Care Programming (preschool ages) at the VBS ECC
  • Youth Programming (K-6) with Rabbi Noam Raucher
  • BACHUTZ Outdoor Experience (teens) with Camryn Kruger, Director of Youth Engagement

Stay tuned for details and registration to be announced.
