B'nai Mitzvah Workshop

Fun, Family Learning Experience for 6th Graders and Their Families
9:30-11:45 AM

You are on the threshold of a life changing experience - your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah. The journey begins now and we want to equip you with the tools for a successful trip!

Join Rabbi Joshua Hoffman, Cantor Phil Baron and other educators for a Sunday Family Adventure for all B'nai Mitzvah track 6th graders and their families.

Your child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a process of dynamic changes and Jewish renewal for the entire family. This workshop is designed to help you create a truly memorable and special event.

Topics include:

  • What is this thing called Bar/Bat Mitzvah?
  • Creating a new family dynamic - Transitions to Adolescence
  • Family Torah study
  • Making the celebration unique

Even if you have celebrated a Bar/Bat Mitzvah in our community, we encourage you to participate in our new program.

A light breakfast will be served. Students MUST be accompanied by one or both parents.

This workshop is FREE to all members, but you MUST reserve space by Tuesday, February 19, using the form below.
