Meetings
Thursday Night: Spousal/Partner Loss Support Group - In-person at VBS
Bereavement support is offered to grievers who have had a spouse or partner die for the first two years after their loss. Groups are offered based upon the number of months from the death of a loved one.
7:00-7:30pm Coffee, social time and announcements
7:30-9:00pm Group Meeting
This is not a drop-in group. Call to schedule an orientation with a licensed therapist.
Thursday Night: New Beginnings Alumni Group - Virtual on the Zoom Platform
This group is offered only for individuals who have completed the 2-year bereavement group program
offered by HOPE Connection. The New Beginnings group assists individuals to discuss and transition
into the issues of a newly defined life. Issues discussed may include: family and friend relationships,
dating, the life of a single person, changing values and beliefs, spirituality, grief issues that get
activated and how to create a healthy, functional life after grieving the death of a spouse. This is a
place to problem solve life's ongoing struggles, share life's joys and continue to feel connected.
7:00-8:30pm Virtual Group Meeting

Wednesdays: Agoura Hills Spousal/Partner Loss Support Group - In-person in Agoura Hills
Bereavement support is offered to grievers who have had a spouse or partner die for the first two years
after their loss. Groups are offered based upon the number of months from the death of a loved one
and are facilitated by licensed therapists.
6:30-8:00pm Group Meeting
Call to schedule a one-time orientation meeting
Saturday: Death of a Parent Group for Adult Children - Virtual on the Zoom Platform
Bereavement support for adult children whose suffered the death of a parent. This group is facilitated
in 8-week series. This group gives individuals a safe place to share and heal their grief.
9:30-11:00am Group Meeting
Call to schedule a one-time orientation meeting
Fees and Orientation
It is necessary to call in advance to schedule a one-time orientation for all groups. None of the groups are drop-in groups.
$75 Orientation Fee with a licensed therapist.
$40 Fee Per Session for each group.
Sliding scale is available if needed.
Non-profit and non-denominational.
