Our VBS Food Bank is open and operating. The Food Bank is in urgent need of donations. To make it very convenient to support our Food Bank needs, we have created an Amazon Wish List of items to order that can be delivered directly to VBS.
We also have bins available to drop off items:
Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm and Fri-Sun 7am-3pm
Urgently needed items: 12-14 oz. cold cereal boxes, 16 oz. peanut butter, 15 oz. canned tomato sauce, macaroni & cheese boxes, canned chicken, canned fruit, canned beans, pasta
The VBS Food Bank, working in conjunction with JFS/SOVA, is proud to offer a 24-48 hour supply of food for the hungry.
Always cognizant of a balanced diet, included in the grocery bag is a variety of canned meats and/or fish, canned soup, canned or dried fruit and vegetables, pasta, rice, dried milk, cereal and peanut butter. Guests of the food bank are referred to us from SOVA, the city's 211 emergency line and a number of local shelters.
