Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower each child to reach his/her potential as a confident, skilled, and passionate learner with a strong Jewish identity. Exceptional, forward-thinking academic general and Judaic studies programs emphasize inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity while instilling Jewish ethics, values, spirituality, a personal connection to Israel, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Embraced by a nurturing and dynamic community, our students build a foundation that fosters academic achievement, celebrates the joy of Jewish life, and cultivates a desire to make a difference in the world.
Inspiring the Mind
The simple truth is: inspired kids inspire us all. A child’s mind is naturally curious and open to new ideas. That’s why we challenge students to develop their critical thinking skills and imagination. As no two children are alike, we believe in differentiating the learning process to address different learning styles and to challenge each child to reach his or her full learning potential. Whether using interactive SMARTBoards, laptops,iPads, multi-disciplinary projects, or experiencing Hebrew language come alive, students can now reach even higher to expand and develop their minds.
Nurturing the Heart
The focus of building character, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose is an important part of a child’s emerging identity. Nurturing also builds strong friendships and allows children to become part of a dynamic and caring community. By being rooted in Jewish values and a rich Jewish heritage, children develop a strong sense of character and peoplehood. By allowing their personal expression and talents to grow through the arts and athletics programs, they will gain an appreciation for culture and teamwork. Ultimately, our students come to school every day knowing that they are cherished as individuals.
Changing the World
Judaism values each individual as an ongoing partner in caring for the world. As such, each child has the opportunity to improve the world through words, deeds, and actions. Whether programming a robot for medical advances, taking a role in student council, or bringing food to a local food bank, our students take leadership in Tikkun Olam, making a difference in the world.
