MARCH IS PACKED WITH PROGRAMS! TAKE YOUR PICK!

Shalom ECLC families,

I hope you all have checked out our newly renovated sanctuary!

Cantor Rafii has been hosting Shira in there the past two Tuesdays! If you haven’t popped your head in there yet please do so, we want our parents to see the results of our hard work and commitment to keeping Valley Beth Shalom a place we all

Call home.

March is shaping up to be an eventful and meaningful month here at Valley Beth Shalom. I can not stress enough how important it is to us here that you and your family feel accepted and heard here. This month we have a few family events that you can join and engage with our community as a whole!

ECLC Coffee and Schooze at Bubby’s, Tuesday, March 12th
All schools Challah Bake, Thursday March 14th
Shabbat B’Yachad Junior Congregation, Saturday March 16th
Community Purim Spiel - Saturday, March 23rd - Free to the community
ECLC Mitzvah Day (7th grade run), Purim Parade - Sunday, March 24th
ECLC Kid’s Movie Night - Tuesday, March 26th (after Hebrew School)

ISRAEL AT WAR

Today on International Woman’s Day, there are still 19 women are still in captivity.

Today marks 154 days.

115 additional men and elderly are also still in captivity. A total of 134 Israelis, men, woman, elderly and babies too.

A Purim celebration and costume parade for our littlest friends!

Traditional Purim Service & Megillah reading led by Yossi Dresner

7:00pm: Barbie's Shpielhouse

The Megillah comes to life in Barbie's Shpielhouse! Come dressed up in your favorite costume and sing along with our Purim performers.

PARTICIPATE IN MISHLOACH MANOT!

One of the five mitzvot of Purim is giving gifts to friends, or Mishloach Manot! Valley Beth Shalom will gift every VBS member family, teacher, clergy and staff person with Mishloach Manot!

You can take part in this Purim mitzvah by contributing to this campaign in honor and recognition of a person or group that has made an impact on you. Click the button below to learn more and participate today!

SAVE THE DATE AND START COLLECTING!

2ND ANNUAL 7TH GRADE MITZVAH DAY IS COMING! SUNDAY, MARCH 24TH!

It's that time of year again, and we are delighted to announce that our 7th graders will be hosting our in-house Mitzvah Day on Sunday, March 24th.

In the true spirit of Tikkun Olam, they will collect various items they have learned are the hardest to come by for those in need and distribute them properly.

You can help, too!

Get a jump on spring cleaning and donate if you can!

We need:

Gently used clothes for men, women, and children
New socks for men, women and children
Gently used backpacks for underserved areas
New school supplies such as markers, binders, pencils, etc.
All and any new travel-size hygiene products (soap, shampoo, wet wipes, anything helps!)
Bag of soil
Dried food/canned goods
