My Life as a Clock: An Art Project about the Time of My Life

Looking back, how do you see your life so far? Looking forward, what do you look forward to in the future? What are the highlights? How would you attach them to the concept of time? In this class, we will actually each design and create in mixed media, the clock of our lives, we will discuss the ways people see their life. Projects are designed to make every new and seasoned artist feel successful. 

Facilitator: Judy Hendlish has been teaching art and Judaic studies and integrating the two for many years at local Jewish Day schools.  At VBS, she designed the curriculum and taught at the Fine Arts Academy for the ECLC. She got her undergraduate degree at University of the Arts in Philadelphia and her degree in teaching at Hebrew Union College through their DeLeT Fellowship program.

Sunday, February 4, 11 & 25 from 10:00am-12:00pm at LA Jewish Healthcare (Fountainview), Reseda

Due to limited space, this class is very limited. Spaces will be first come first served, allowing for participants from each of the SAYVA partners communities (LA Jewish Health, Temple Judea, Temple Ramat Zion, Valley Beth Shalom)
