Ian Starr

Content and Media Manager

Ian Starr is thrilled to serve as Valley Beth Shalom's Content and Media Manager. He supports the synagogue's online presence through video, social media and other digital formats, widening the reach of our audience far beyond our walls.

Ian grew up in Philadelphia. He studied Film and Media Arts at Temple University. After moving to Los Angeles in 2016, he worked in entertainment at various production companies. With an intention to reconnect with the Jewish world, Ian decided to leave Hollywood. He spent nearly two years as Communications Coordinator of Adat Shalom Synagogue in West LA where he worked together with Rabbi Nolan Lebovitz.
