Nora Pearlman
Nora Pearlman
Associate Director of Development

Nora Pearlman brings over a decade of experience in mission-driven fundraising, community engagement, and strategic growth to her role as Associate Development Director. With a strong background in relationship-building and results-oriented planning, she is committed to advancing the Valley Beth Shalom (VBS) community.
Throughout her career, Nora has worked across nonprofit and educational institutions, cultivating meaningful donor relationships, crafting compelling cases for support, and driving sustained philanthropic growth. Prior to joining VBS, she served as Assistant Director of Giving at Brentwood School, where she led consecutive record-breaking fundraising campaigns.
A lifelong member of VBS, Nora is a graduate of the VBS ECC and VBS Day School, celebrated her Bat Mitzvah and Aufruf at the synagogue, and now has her own children enrolled in its schools. She is passionate about strengthening Jewish life through sustainable philanthropy and is proud to support the VBS community that has always been her home.
