Jaclyn Singer has a lifelong passion for Judaism, Israel and community-building. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University. After college, Jaclyn made Aliyah to Israel to serve as a lone soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, becoming an instructor in a combat unit of the Tank Corps. Upon returning to America to be close to her family, Jaclyn dedicated her career to Jewish communal work, Israel advocacy and Jewish education. She served the San Diego Jewish community in a variety of capacities, working as the NextGen Program Manager for the Jewish Federation of San Diego County, as Project Manager for M2: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education, and most recently as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the San Diego Jewish Academy.
