HAZAK MONDAY MORNINGS
Hazak Monday morning sessions start with registration and socializing at 9:30 AM.
Sessions from 10:00 AM - 12:15 PM generally include 1-2 presentations by speakers on a wide range of topics of interest to active seniors-historical events, advances in medicine, questions in the Torah, current world events, trends in the American Jewish Community and Israel, space missions and new technology, opera, kosher wine, and managing family relationships. Once or twice a year we present a film program with discussion.
Lunch break with socializing is from 12:15 - 1:00 PM followed by a choice of Monday afternoon programs from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. CLICK HERE for the full program.
HAZAK MONDAY AFTERNOONS
- Oracle Discussion Group. CLICK HERE for information.
- Torah Study with VBS Clergy. Small group discussion on the weekly Torah portion or other topics as selected by our Clergy.
- New this Year…Hazak Game Room on Monday Afternoons. Bring your favorite game equipment (Mah Jonng, RummyQ, Bridge, etc.), and form a group, we provide the room and tables for play.
- New this Year…Early Childhood Center Story Telling. Hazak volunteers tell stories to VBS Early Childhood Education students. CLICK HERE for information.
- Starting February 10, Great Decisions discussion group. Small group discussion of world affairs. Register by 11/22/2019 to get Resource Book. CLICK HERE for information.
