Library Minyan
Library Minyan
Under the leadership of volunteer members, the Library Minyan at VBS provides a deeply traditional and completely participatory Shabbat morning service twice a month. Services begin promptly at 9:30am on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. Members of the Minyan lead Services, read from the Torah, chant the Haftorah and a member leads a 10 minute discussion on the portion of the week. People of all ages and levels of experience are welcome. Melodies are both traditional and modern and new melodies are welcomed and encouraged.
The Services are open, friendly and comfortable and members of the community are invited to participate in any of the sections of the Service. If you are remembering a Yahrzeit or celebrating a special event, the Minyan will be honored to give you an Aliyah. Please join us!!
