Adina Winnett

Director of Marketing and Communications

Adina Winnett (née Miller) joined Valley Beth Shalom as the Director of Marketing and Communications in the summer of 2022. An LA native, she graduated from Valley Beth Shalom Day School and Milken Community High School, before receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in English, with a minor in Religious Studies, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After college, she partook in Masa’s "Destination Israel" program and lived in Tel Aviv for 6 months, interning for a communications company and expanding her knowledge and love of Judaism, Hebrew, and the country of Israel.

After returning back to the US, Adina officially entered the world of communications, working for various PR firms around Los Angeles representing clients in the entertainment, lifestyle, culinary and hospitality industries. Wanting to return to her roots and work in the Jewish world, she left the corporate sector and spent two and a half years at Sinai Temple in West LA, most recently as the Marketing Manager and Executive Clergy Assistant, overseeing the synagogue's and Rabbis' email blasts, media appearances, programs, partnerships and social media.

Adina lives in Tarzana with her husband Adam (who is also a VBSDS alumnus) and their dog Winnie.
